Another school year, another opportunity to cut excess sweetness out of my life! No, no – I love my job – the excess sweetness removal is courtesy of Diane Sanfilippo’s 21 Day Sugar Detox Program. I did my first round in January, one in March, and it seemed like a great time to do it again. There have been so many changes going on in my life during the summer, this seemed like a great way to get on track. I made it through the day feeling great! My only dilemma was not having enough food prepared. I did have some grain free meatballs in the freezer, and a salad – lunch was made! Eggs and bacon for dinner, and a green apple with almond butter for dessert, and Day One is in the books!
